Wag umarte na maliit ang rice, teh unlimited ang rice. Yung mga pasweet kunwari na nagdidiet, stop stopping me! I'm sure mapapaextra rice ka! Tender yung steak Nila at masarap din ang timpla. At yung gravy juskerrrrr.... Kung unlimited Lang din ang gravy, isasabaw Ko sa rice beks! Pero prim and proper ka dapat. Bawal PG. Kapag geget nga ako ng rice "Kuya, rice please. Ay isa pang scoop. Ay, dagdagan mo pa. Kuya, ako na nga Lang kukuha!" Echos Lang!

R-E-S-P-E-C-T

Ngayon lang to. Pagbigyan na. 

Recently, na-legalize na ang same-sex unions in the United States. YEHEY! Celebrate ang mga bakla. Sa US, wiz sa Pinas. Aminin na natin, kahit anong baligtad sa Earth ang gawin natin, hindi accepted ang ganyan sa Pinas. Tolerated, yes, but tolerance is very different from being accepted. Truth is, at the back of my mind, legalization of same-sex unions in the United States is politically driven. Well, karamihan naman nyan, ganyans, sad truth. So same-sex unions are still too far from being accepted by most people. But recently, more and more people are starting to accept us. They are defending us from people who, as they say, are "close-minded" cos hindi nila matanggap na legalization of same-sex unions will not harm them in any way. Ang point nila, corrupted na daw ang morality ng future generations, next na daw ang legalization ng incestuous relationships at human-animal marriage, etc. Point taken. 

But, it doesn't end there. The pro-LGBT will respond, syemps sasagot yung isa. Never-ending na. May point naman both sides. But the thing is, once a person's mind is made up on a certain issue, you won't be able to persuade him into your side, lalo na when it involves religion or morality. Wouldn't it be better if we just let them be? Cos, in the end, we will all resort to name calling, and ridiculing each other. We will say na they are all bigots and all that, pero in the process, aren't we becoming bigots as well? Aren't we discriminating the people against same-sex unions in the process na din? 

Respect begets respect, that's what I always say. Well, most of the time. I may be a bitch, most of the time, but only to people who deserve it. Charot! I am not saying na ang linis ko, napakadalisay, my point is, maybe we should start respecting each other and then, maybe one day, acceptance. 

A day or two after the US proclamation of the legalization of same-sex unions, na-sight ko yung photos sa Brazil gay pride. Naloka ako, tumambling ako ng bonggang bongga na may kandirit pa at pati yung straight kong hair eh kumulot pa.

Naloka ako dahil ang slogan nila ay "I was born this way, I grew up so I will always be like this: respect me." There's that word again, respect. I was born and raised a Catholic. Well, no longer practicing, but still. I support freedom of expression, hanash ka lang beks, go mo lang. Chika mo lahat ng bet mo, as long as wiz ka nakakaoffend. Yung bida sa Roman Catholic Church pa yung ginawan ng ganyan. I hate to say this pero, at times, we give them the license to disrespect us as well, or worse, hate us. 

Personally, yes, of course I am pro same-sex union. UNION ha, not MARRIAGE. When you say marriage kasi, you can't help but associate it with religion. Cos for me, I am only after the legalities of the relationship. And don't worry, dahil hindi ko din pipilit na magpakasal sa Church. As long as recognized lang ng government yung benefits, like tax exemption (ASA? CHAROT!), separation of assets (just in case, yknerrrr), and other shit, check na ako dun. That is my idea of EQUALITY. Kung itakwil ako ng Catholic Church (feeling importante. BIG TIME!), fine. Choice nila yun, I respect their decision. Simple lang di ba? RESPECT. If other people still look down on you cos you're gay and maoffend ka, say your piece, but don't force yourself on them. Sayang lang effort, dahil wiz mo na mababago pag iisip nila, instead, learn from it. Be a better person by showing them that you are still worthy of their respect inspite of what they did. 

OKAY.... tama na. Back to regular programming na. CHOS! Pero alam nyo naman kasi, si Beks, pro world peace kaya may ganitong paandar. Yun lang.
